Raids - Aion Information

Raids will consist of up to 9 groups with up to 6 players per group for a maximum of 54 players in a single raid.

Holy balls, this is a ton of people, in comparison to what most of us are used to seeing for raids. I mean 20-30 is not out of the question, but good gravy! Fiftay Fo?!

I think this is also for siege purposes, not entirely based on PvE conquest. I am sure they have some large raid bosses / raids in general planned (but possibly things like Antharas, where they are not intended to be destroyed all the time or easily for that matter..)

But a 54 person raid interface makes sieges easier on all party members involved.

hopefully raids won't need that many people. just seems like they had to cap it somewhere and 9 groups was enough for them. "up to 9 groups" is what makes me believe this.
